The Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) has filed yet another a lawsuit  claiming that the federal government's guidance to public schools on the rights of transgender students violates the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA). This lawsuit, which is nearly identical to those it filed in in Illinois and North Carolina, is yet another attempt to use religion as an excuse to discriminate and harm others— by an organization with a bad track record on this.

This misuse of RFRA is exactly why we support the Do No Harm Act, a bill that would preserve the federal RFRA's power to protect religious freedom but also clarify that it may not be used to harm others. Help us protect our neighbors: Contact your representative and ask him/her to co-sponsor the Do No Harm Act.
